my dream

good afternoon, everyone! i'm sure everyone has a dream of his own. today i’d like to share my dream with you.

dream is a beautiful word for me. when i was a child, i often thought i would be a heroine to save the world. as the time goes by, i have knowned the superman and the superwoman is just a child's fairy tale. but it's unimportant for me. i also want to save our world in my own way. at one point, i have considered becoming a doctor. in everyone’s opinion the doctor can save people from death. but i'm a student who is not learning anything about ch(好范文网：WWw.HAOWoRd.com)emistry and biology. so this dream hardly comes true. but i don't lose my heart, i had known there are many jobs we can do if we want to save our world. not only to be a superman or a doctor, but also to be a volunteer.

as we all known, a peace-loving people will inserted flowers into the gunpoint; an environmentalists will advise people to protect the environment. they will try their best to save our world by their daily behavior. they are efforts of people. i envy them, i think they

are great. i want to be a member of them; i want to realize my dream.

many people will say that i am dreaming a dream. save the world is too far to achieve for our senior high school students. however i want to say it’s not far from our reality. einstein has ever said that “i know not with what weapons world war iii will be fought, but world war iv will be fought with sticks and stones.” we can see how peace-loving people important for our life. though this is a fact someone may say that is also far from our life. as a student we only to have class everyday then have some examinations. after many years we will have different jobs and have our families. but have you ever thought about this: if we can not live till that time we have jobs or families? if 2014 is a real future story, what can we do that time?

now i want to say i have a dream that one day, we will one day live in a world where we will not have any wars; i have a dream that one day, we will live a world where there is full of the flowers and grass. i hope that day i hope is not far.

ladies and gentlemen!

good evening! i am very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. first, please permit me introduce myself to all of you. my name is …today my topic is “my university”. i hope you will like it.now let’s begin.

first, i will talk something about my university. my university, -henan polytechnic university has a long and honor history. our campus is so beautiful and when i stepped on the campus of our university, seeing the sunshine sprinkling over the teaching buildings, my stage i know, is here!

it was the first time that i went into hpu, i felt he is so young ,so living and kicking, just as we are! it was the first time that i was attracted in class by my teachers, and my english teacher in particularly, who, you know, is just like our old friend, funny, soft , considerate and trying to make us more comfortable! it was the first time that i made friends here, we have a little in common, thus we all headfor the same destination, we all make progress every day! it was the first time that i participated in activities here, i was terribly excited, feeling being young is so wonderful!!

actually， my life in university is substantial. i tried to study harder and took more active part in activities at school to enrich my life and myself. there is an old saying "where there is a will, there is a way." i think my dream can come true. now in the university i mature, and in the university i prepare for the real world. my university, my dream. i believe that i can fly at the height of dream.

hpu ---the first step in my future career!

i enjoy my stay here, and meanwhile, i know, being young, hpu is till developing every second, every minute, every hour, and every day!

The blue, the green and the fresh

In 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. gave a speech <I have a dream> to the Negro，encourage them to fight for their equality with white man. I appreciate his brave, persistent and faith, and dream to be a person like him. Today, I find the distance between the reality and dream is a step-70 centimeters. When I stand the honor place, I tell a dream that I will spend my whole life to make it come true.

As we all know, at the beginning of 2013, the fog and the haze lay over most cities. Most citizens, especially children, suffer from the respiratory disease. The paper, 《Analysis towards environmentally sustainable future state of the environment of the people's Republic of China》, reports that although Chinese government try to control of atmospheric pollution, there are also seven-tenth cities that the most seriously polluted in China. There are less than 1 percent of 500 big cities in China meeting the quality standards of World Health Organization. Does the world like this? Is there anyone tell me why it is contrary to my dream?

In my dream, people are wealthy, living the well-off life. Instead of hurrying to work, they enjoy the sunshine and the boundless blue in the morning and tell the stories about millions of starts and the moon to their children under the sky. People are full of love. They love the nature, family, compatriot and foreigners.

In my dream, the green surround the city in a beautiful style. People like to plant trees, flowers and grass, attracting birds and butterflies to sing and play. Trees are so high that cover the roads and prevent dust flying. People walk with green, then own a good mood and eyes health. Most believe where there is the green, there is a will.

In my dream, people are so clever and creative. They invent something new vehicles to replace cars and substitute new resources for oil. They make the world beautiful and air fresh. Everybody loves breathing and doing exercise anywhere.

In my dream, my parents and my children live in the world I dream.

Maybe the question is hard to answer. But I will fight for my dreams. And now I know I am not alone, or making a daydream. After The eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, our country decides to take ecological civilization into the social construction. I need to seize the opportunity to do something useful. I want to be a protector. I will try my best to protest the destruction of nature. I hope to be a professor. I will make full use of my knowledge to built tourism cities. I wish to be an advocator. I will ask more people and High-technical intellectuals to participate my team to build my dream.

At last, I want to emphasize that the blue, the green and the fresh are as importance as the love, the hope and the creativity. I will pursue for them in China to make my life meaningful and valuable.

today, i'm very glad to stand here to share something about dreams with you.

everyone has his own dream.

someone wants to be rich, dreaming of millionaires overnight.

someone wants to be famous, dreaming of suddenly jumping to great fame.

someone wants to get every thing he wants.

then, what is my dream?

i never thought of my dream when i was a kid. later, my dream always changed. maybe i didn’t know what dream really is at that time. i dreamed to be a scientist or an actress.

but one day something changed. my dear grandmother was badly ill. she suffered from a disease every day. she kept silent all the time. it seemed that everything went bad. i thought i should do something for her. i wanted to know what she was thinking. the word ‘psychology’ came to me. i started to read books on it, and fell in love with it. so, i have a dream now.

i have a dream that one day i can be a psychologist.

i have a dream that one day i can see my grandmother get

over from the disease, not suffering from it any more.

i have a dream that one day every one in the world will be happy every day.

i say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, i still have a dream. it is a dream deeply rooted in my heart.

life is only a short few decades, i just want it to go.
