美术教育是大学生教育的重要内容

艺术素质是指具备艺术范畴内的内在知识水平和外在表现相协调统一的一种综合水平和能力。比如从事舞蹈、音乐、绘画、文学创作等艺术行为的人他们所具备的和艺术相关的能力,就可以称之为艺术素质。艺术素质教育即是指通过特定的方法和内容,来改变艺术素质水平的教育。而美术教育是以艺术熏陶功能为内涵的艺术教育活动,所具有的陶冶人的情操,提高人的艺术修养等方面的功能,发挥了独有的功能。因此高校美术教师应该从培养学生美术学习基本技能与基本素质着手,注重大学生艺术品质与艺术修养的同步发展,担当其综合素质发展的重任。
